eBay Buyer and Seller Tips

Seller Tip - Keywords One of the most critical things for sellers to consider are title keywords. The precious 55 characters allowed by eBay to grab your buyers. A Google search for 'eBay keywords' produces about 3,700,000 results! eBay has a very powerful tool - look for 'BayEstimator' Here to help you select the best most successful keywords - and it works highlighting those words with low volume and high demand.Buyer Tip - Keywords Over the last couple of months eBay has been quietly (well not so quietly) working away at improving its search algorithm (called Best Match). This in theory means that the more popular items relating to your search will be presented first in results as opposed to the item finishing soonest. This search also favours sellers with better feedback DSR's (star ratings). This means that buyers in theory will be presented with the best sellers selling (typically) competitively priced items. Better buying experience and more overall sales (read commission) for eBay.The thing is all this relates to the keywords - it's always a good idea to search with different keywords which relate to your goal. 'Dog Lead' and 'Dog Leash' will result in a whole new selection to choose from and possibly help you to find that bargain.
